my mom took these pictures. normally, anyone who isnt a miner isn't even allowed in the area of the mine, but Roger took my mom there when not a lot of people were working and so she got to go a little bit of the way in. i captioned some of the pictures. if you have any questions about anything or whatever just email them to me. gloomy_nymph@charter.net ooohh, and i wrote in a black pen on the back of some of the pictures and it smudged on the front of other pictures. sorry. aaannnndddddd.... this group of pictures was absolutely huge and so i scaled them down alot but i do have a copy of the original file from the scan.... so if theres a pic you would like to see a little clearer just ask.
